Endorsed Training Q & A

Who can attend the Fitness Ballet Endorsed Training?

Any Instructor who has attained a nationally recognised Exercise to Music qualification (such as OCR, CYQ or ActiveIQ), or anyone who has a group training qualification and is on the REPS register.

What if I have never done ballet? Do I need to have a background in it?

No. That's the beauty of Fitness Ballet Endorsed Training.

I want NEW INSTRUCTORS to be aware that you don't have to have any ballet experience to take part and benefit from this training.

Many of you might find the word ballet daunting but once you have learnt the correct execution of ballet moves then you too can enjoy the benefits that Fitness Ballet has to offer. Remember it is still a fitness-based class not a ballet class, so don't panic!

What if I'm not very confident at making up my own choreography?

I have made a DVD of a class and teaching points that you can purchase once you have attended the training day. So you can either copy the whole DVD and teach it to your class or copy parts and add your own sparkle to it. (Please see Merchandise)

What if I'm not very flexible?

It doesn't matter. My classes really focus in on this area and major improvements have been made just by doing this 45 min class 3 times a week.

Also the class that you teach won't feel so intimidated as you together will be working for the same goal.

What category would you put Fitness Ballet into?

It has been recognised in Fitness Clubs as a 'Mind and Body' class and has been extremely popular in this field, as participants leave the studio feeling relaxed and refreshed in mind and body.

What if I can't see any Training days near me?

E-mail me at kirsty@fitnessballet.co.uk and I will see what I can do.
