About Fitness Ballet

Fitness Ballet is designed to be a fun, total body conditioning class aimed at beginners over the age of 16. The class incorporates basic moves progressing to more advanced ones to the sound of contemporary music.

I created Fitness Ballet so that everybody could have the chance at attending a class that is ballet-orientated but that has been designed so that the “untrained” dancer can enjoy and get a great workout from this unique class. Fitness Ballet also differs from a normal ballet class because it is aimed at leisure centre participants, especially "gym beasts" and customers who participate in high aerobic classes. These are the people who often don’t give themselves sufficient time to stretch and relax.

Having already introduced Fitness Ballet into fitness clubs it has generated a strong and positive response from participants. The class structure has been developed further using feedback obtained from class participants' questionnaires .
