Kirsty Pellant
- Started dance at the age of 2 at the Kim Academy school of Dance through to the age of 18.
- Progressed through my grades with IDTA in Ballet, Tap and Modern Dance.
- Attended the EKO Studio for private singing tuition with Edson Keen.
- At college completed a BTEC National Diploma in Perfoming Arts.
- Attended the Linda Regan school of Dance.
- Attended contemporary dance classes which were taught by various members of Loop Dance Company.
- I gained my Equity Card.
- At ALRA ( Academy of Live and Recorded Arts) I attended a course in Screen Acting.
- Performed as a professional Singer / Dancer in fantastic venues such as Her Majesty’s Theatre, Fulham Football ground and the Telewest Arena in Newcastle to mention a few.
- After touring the U.K in various Musical Theatre Productions I came back to my roots in Canterbury, Kent.
- Attained my Gym Instructor course (Amac Sports)
- Attained my Exercise to music qualification (Lifetime Health and Fitness)
- Attained my Body Jam certificate (BTS)
- PTI to the Army in Howe Barracks Canterbury.
- Currently teaching classes at Kingsmead Leisure Centre in Canterbury
The Fitness Ballet training arose because I wanted to combine my training in ballet with my fitness expertise in an easy and accessible way for all NEW INSTRUCTORS, who have maybe had no dance experience but who have the passion and drive to teach something new and exciting to their participants.
And so Fitness Ballet was born...
